The Waffles SMP Council
VOTING METHOD
A direct democracy where anyone can propose something to be voted on.
MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS
Any country that wants to join the council must first be voted into council recognition by the current council members. Whether a country is recognized or not depends on each country’s opinion on whether the new country is legitimate, so requirements vary by country. A country must also have an official flag to be considered legitimate.
REMOVAL FROM THE COUNCIL
Countries may be unrecognized by a council vote, and because only recognized countries can be in the council that means the country will lose their spot in the council. Unrecognition can happen for any reason that the council wants (like a country losing a lot of citizens), but more likely because of bad conduct or international crimes committed by the country or its leader.
INTERNATIONAL LAW ENFORCEMENT
Countries may be asked to provide soldiers or resources to enforce national or international laws if necessary.
