Bill of Rights of the Magical Democracy
Amendment I.
The government will not legislate or sanction the expression of opinion, the unannounced gathering of people, criticize the in-game government, or oppose freedom of the press.
Amendment II.
Every citizen has the right to decline the government’s request to station soldiers on private land. The government has no right to force civilians to give up land to station soldiers.
Amendment III.
The government may not arrest civilians or search a home without valid reason or evidence. The government should not detain civilians for longer than necessary. The government cannot detain citizens if the evidence that arrested them has been declared null and void.
Amendment IV.
Every citizen has the right to a fair trial in which an appropriate sentence is imposed by an unbiased jury. Citizens should not be arrested or imprisoned for the crimes of another. Citizens should not be arrested or imprisoned for the crimes of an entire country.
Amendment V.
Every civil suspect has the right to a lawyer. Every civil suspect has the right to know what they are on trial for. Every civil suspect has the right to be confronted by witnesses. Every civil suspect has the right to call witnesses.
Amendment VI.
Every citizen has the right to request a retrial if they believe that the previous trial was not fair. Every citizen has the right to request a trial against the government.
Amendment VII.
Rights granted in the Constitution shall not infringe on other rights given to the people.
